Here you can find a simple recipe for parmesan biscuits, excellent as an aperitif for Christmas and holidays. We therefore recommend using Christmas molds!
Ingredients (approximately 40 biscuits)
- 60 g of flour
- 45 g of cold diced butter
- 60 g of grated parmesan
- optional: dried herbs (rosemary, oregano) and spices (turmeric, paprika, pepper, poppy seeds)
Pre-heat the oven to 180°C.
Blend the flour with the butter and parmesan until you obtain a smooth dough, let it rest for half an hour in the fridge, wrapped in cling film.
If you want, you can diversify them by adding chopped dried herbs, poppy seeds or sesame to part of the dough.
On a floured surface, roll out a sheet of dough approximately 0.5 cm thick with a floured rolling pin.
Using a Christmas-shaped pastry cutter, shape the biscuits and place them on a baking tray lined with aluminum foil, spacing them apart.
Cook them until they are just golden, (about 10′) let them cool before serving.
