We made a lot of lasagna with Angelica… Sometimes we try new combinations and ingredients, and whatever we put in there, the Lasagne” are so delicious!

Here you can find  lasagna with radicchio, sausages and provolone, really special.

Ingredients (6 people)

  • Fresh lasagna sheets pasta
  • 5 sausages
  • 1 Chicory (Radicchio)
  • 1 shallot or onion;
  • 1/2 provolone (or other tasty cheese);
  • Parmesan (40 gr)
  • 800 grams of béchamel
  • Nutmeg;
  • Milk;
  • A drop of wine;
  • Pepper and salt;
  • Olive Oil;
  • cracked nuts (optional)
  • bread crumbs (optional)

Bake the sausage in a pan until it is cooked (you don’t need to add oil, it already have its own oil).

Clean the radicchio, chop and cook in a pan with oil, shallot/onion and chilly. Add salt and a bit of white wine.

Make the white sauce (béchamel), or more simply, buy one already made adding a dash of milk, a pinch of nutmeg and salt.

Cutting the provolone (or other cheese) into small cubes.

Now that everything is ready, assemble the lasagna: put a bit of olive oil on the baking tray, and then lay the first layer of Fresh lasagna sheets over which we will put the béchamel sauce, radicchio, sausage, provolone and Parmesan cheese and some cracked nuts (if you like). Go on with the second layer of fresh lasagna sheets on which we will add our ingredients (béchamel sauce, radicchio, sausage, provolone and Parmesan cheese); then the third and if we want the fourth. On the last lasagna sheet we have to put the béchamel sauce, a bit of radicchio and a lot of parmesan (And bread crumbs if you like it) to browning.

Bake in the oven for 40 minutes until is cooked and little brown on the surface.
