MARZIPAN CHOCOLATES

Whatever the occasion, these chocolates filled with almond paste (marzipan), very quick to make, will make you look great. They are always devoured wherever you take them.

Their secret is that they are simple and simply combine the sweetness of the almond paste with the bitterness of the chocolate…

Ingredients:

  • 1 block of white almond paste (you can find it in delicatessens) – but pistachio is also fine
  • 200 g of dark chocolate
  • powdered sugar

Work the almond paste with your hands on the surface on which you have put a little powdered sugar until it becomes soft and malleable. Make balls of about 1 cm in diameter.

Melt the chopped dark chocolate in a bain-marie or, even better, reduced to fragments by the mixer, until it is liquid and very shiny.

At this point, using a teaspoon or a skewer, dip the almond paste balls into the chocolate and once covered, leave them to dry (it will take a few hours) on a surface covered with baking paper or silver paper.

Before they harden, decorate as you like with flaked almonds or dried fruit, sugar balls or anything else you like.
